Kayleigh Sweeney
Founder and CEO

Kayleigh started her career in the beauty industry at just 16 years old, alongside her modelling career. She fell in love with the industry and soon qualified as a skincare specialist and professional makeup artist.

Kayleigh worked with some of the most prestigious beauty brands worldwide and became a successful business manager for the global brand, Christian Dior, at the age of just 21. She had a passion for not only making people look good, but most importantly – feel good.

Following her beauty career, she was offered a management position for one of the UK’s leading non-surgical clinics. Naturally this led Kayleigh into the field of cosmetic surgery and she spent many years working alongside some of the worlds leading cosmetic and plastic surgeons.

It was at this time that Kayleigh met Dr Alan Sweeney, whom had recently qualified in Medical Aesthetics.

With Kayleigh’s passion, knowledge and experience within the aesthetics industry and with Alan being a Doctor, they decided to open up a clinic with a unique experience – Number One Aesthetics.

Kayleigh manages Number One Aesthetics full time and since 2016 has been the sole point of contact to the thousands of patients they have treated. In addition to this, she runs all of our social media accounts, is always present during clinic and training days and is there to answer any of your questions or concerns.

Kayleigh is also a mum to her beautiful daughter, Hope. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, watching movies and making memories.

Dr Alan Sweeney

Dr Alan Sweeney graduated from Manchester University in 2009 with two degrees – a medical degree and an additional degree in Neuroscience.

During over 10 years of NHS service, he completed three Postgraduate Diplomas in Sports Medicine, Adult Medicine and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound before becoming a Sports Medicine Consultant in 2019.

It was during this time that he also completed his Advanced Qualifications in medical aesthetics and opened Number One Aesthetics alongside his wife Kayleigh, which has won multiple awards over the past 6 years.

His working week is currently split between sports medicine and aesthetics, working as the Lead Consultant at Wolverhampton MSK Service, one of the doctors at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club and performing all of the injectable treatments for Number One Aesthetics – with a current total of over 10,000 procedures completed so far.

With a passion for teaching and education, he spent one year teaching anatomy to medical and dental students at Manchester University and lectured on a Masters programme at Shrewsbury University. He is now one of Relife’s Expert Injectors, delivering teaching in aesthetics to the next generation of medical practitioners.

In his free time, he loves going to Italian restaurants with his wife, soft play with his daughter and going for long walks as a family
